随分、昔に録画していた「ニューヨークシェアハウス物語～夢をリアルに変える場所～」を ぼんやりしながら見ていました。ふと､大学生時代の甘酸っぱい、青臭い記憶が蘇ってきたので 少しだけ 私のことを書こうと思います。
コロンビア大学付属の語学学校に大学４年間継続して、毎年春学期８週間通いながら、お芝居、ボイトレ、ダンスの一通りをレッスン受けていました。感情をどうコントロールして 表現して伝えるのか を勉強する毎日でした。 その合間にオーディションを受けたり 精神的にも肉体的にもしんどい時はありましたが 素敵な日々でした。若いから出来たのかもしれませんが、睡眠時間も２~３時間が ざらにありました。Smash や glee を見ると 若い頃の血が たぎりますね。
あと、お知らせです。どうやら 「Google Adsense 狩り」にあったようです。Googleにアカウント差し止めされました。英語で質問来たので 英語で答えました。たぶんこのまま、永久差し止めでしょうね。いままで ブログ頑張ってきましたが、もう潮時かなあっと思い始めています。

日本は、他の新しい制度を吸収し、結合して調整することが得意である。このことは情報技術（IT）についても同様に言える。実際、この20年の間に、日本はITにおいて大きな進化を遂げた。では、ITは私たちの生活にどのように影響を及ぼすのか。最も明快な答えは、次のようなものである。すなわち、ITは、私たちにもっと便利で快適な生活様式をもたらす、というものであり、携帯電話やデジタルカメラがその例として挙げられる。「必要は発明の母である。」という格言は、この現象に関しては完全に適用できないようである。その反面、ITの発明によって、最先端のデバイスを新しく使うことに対する需要が生まれる。結局、ITによって、私たちは、仕事や勉強、コミュニケーションの効率的なスタイルだけを手に入れるのではなく、それを目的とした楽しみや喜びまでも手に入れることができるのである。
情報技術を拡大してよりよく活用をするには、行政が政策を担わなくてはならない。まず、中央と地方の政府は地域のコミュニティーにおける福祉を促進するために情報技術を具体的に活用するべきだ。例えば、情報技術は障害者やひとり暮らしの高齢者に、家にいながらにして情報を提供する。申請や登録のサイトに簡単にアクセスできれば、わざわざ地方行政体の本庁まで出かけなくて済む。しかし第二に、便利な手続きにアクセスできるかどうかについて、私たちのまかなう家計や住む自治体によって格差があることも事実である。それぞれの自治体は格差是正するため適切な対処をする必要がある。例えば、操作が簡単な携帯電話の無料配布は、自然災害が起きやすい過疎地域での被害者を減らすだろう。私たちは、新しい発想や可能性においても先駆者であるべきなのだ。
Japan is good at absorbing, combining and adjusting other new systems. The same thing is said about Information Technology. In fact, for these two decades, Japan has highly advanced in IT. Then, how IT exerts influence on our life? The most obvious answer is like this: it brings us more convenient and comfortable way of life – mobile phone, the internet and digital camera. “Necessity is the mother of invention” doesn’t seem to be applied to this phenomenon perfectly. To the contrary, the invention of IT makes demand for new use of the foremost devices. After all, IT provides us with not makes demand for new use of the foremost devices. To promote the spread of IT and to make good use of it, executive power has to take charge of some politics. First, the central and municipal government should put IT to practical use to enhance the social welfare system in each community. For instance, IT supplies the handicapped or the aged living alone with information, even if they stay at home. Easy connection with various application or registration sites saves time and trouble to go to the head offices of local government. Secondly, however, it is a fact that differences of accessibility to convenient procedure exist among households we manage and communities we live in. Each local executive power has to take effective means to correct these differences. Free distribution of mobile phones easy to handle might lower the casualty number in depopulated areas which is vulnerable to natural disaster. We should remain a forerunner in new ideas and possibilities.
